How can I help?

Start crafting for wildlife and make something that matters!

If you enjoy making things, we’d love to have you involved. Our Makers donate wildlife or native flora-themed items that we can sell at markets and events, with 100% of the profit going back into local wildlife projects.

You can also join our Made for Wildlife – Maker Mob Facebook group. It’s a place to share what you’re working on, swap ideas or materials, ask questions and keep up with what we have coming up for markets and events.

Whether you make one piece or many, contribute once or keep creating over time, it all matters. We’re genuinely thankful for every item and every bit of heart that goes into making for wildlife.

What should I make?

Start with what you already love to make. Every Maker brings something different, and that’s exactly the point.

It could be something handmade, designed, printed, crafted, painted, built or created in your own way. There’s no set list and no single “right” thing to make. If you have a skill, hobby or idea you’d like to share, we’d love to see what you create.

Wildlife and native flora-inspired pieces are always a great fit, but the main idea is simply to use the skills, tools and creativity you already have to make something we can sell to support local wildlife projects.

It doesn’t need to be perfect, professional or made in large quantities. One item is just as welcome as a whole batch.

A quick note: many of the markets we attend don’t allow AI-generated artwork or designs, so we’re unable to accept these items as Maker donations.

Getting your items to us.

When you pack up your items, please include a little note with the details you’d like us to use to credit you.

If you’re happy for us to tag you on social media, include your name and social media username. You can also tell us the name you’d like displayed on the item tag itself, whether that’s your first name, business name or maker name.

If you’d prefer not to be tagged or credited publicly, that’s completely fine too.

Meet up.

You’re very welcome to drop your items off to us at the next community event near you.
