Turning community crafting into support for wildlife carers across the Southern Tablelands

How we make things happen.

Carers already give their time, homes and resources.
We help by funding the infrastructure and equipment they need.

Make

Volunteers make or design wildlife themed goods to donate.

Sell

We sell them at events and markets in the Southern Tablelands region.

Fund

100% of profits go towards funding important projects for local carers.

Support

Carers are able to help more injured, sick or orphaned native wildlife.

Current project.

Dual Wombat Enclosure – Marulan

A local family of carers already have nine wombats growing, digging and getting ready for release. Yet they still have the space in their heart to help more, and all they need is need another enclosure.

With each wombat often spending around 18 months in care, suitable pens are a major part of giving them the time and space they need before release. This new divided enclosure will create room for around 4–6 additional wombats at a time and will help many orphaned joeys get the love and care they need.

We want to help these carers make room for the next wombat that needs them.

How to get involved.

Help us build

When it’s time to build, we’d love help from people who can give a few hours, a bit of know-how, or simply some extra hands to help us get these builds off the ground.
